Pandemic Flu Preparedness: Web Conference June 28, 2006
According to the World Health Organization (www.who.int), the world may be on the brink of a new pandemic caused by the H5N1 influenza strain. This pandemic will affect all countries, causing widespread illness, large numbers of deaths, economic and social disruption, and a medical supply shortage.
